Daguerreotype portrait of Rev. William Henry Furness, minister of the First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia and abolitionist. Father of Horace Howard Furness, who includes the inscription "Daguerreotype of my father -- one of the very earliest taken in the city. H.H.F. I think, indeed I'm sure, it was taken by W.R. Johnson. H.H.F." and "W.H. Furness the Eminant [sic] Divine."
