Description:

Account of the Passion, probably written after 1662 at the Carmelite monastery in Nieuwpoort, West Flanders. Written in Dutch, with marginal citations to Bible verses and historiated initials constructed from prints and further embellished. Bound later with a second gathering of later paper. Frater Adalbertus, who signed the manuscript in 1745, added a few Latin marginal annotations, a heading on a blank leaf for a list of Puncta moralia (f. 16r, possibly related to a few marginal annotations of Morale), and an epilogue in Dutch (f. 19v-20r).
