Tombs of Absalom, Saint James and Zechariah with the Mount of Olives in the background. The view was taken from the southwest.; The photograph was originally housed in a burlap-covered box which was decorated with crewelwork with symbols and borders on four sides and the lid. The names "Bethlehem," "Bethanie," "Nazar[eth]," and "Jerusalem" each appear on one of the four sides. A pamphlet entitled "Souvenirs Photographiques d'un Pélerinage du Pénitence en Terre-Sainte par M. l'abbé Fromet, curé d'Angé (Loir-et-Cher)" and a list of the mounted photographs accompanies the XBD collection. No title appears on the matte or on the photograph. A handwritten "54" on the matte refers to the number in the pamphlet.; Condition: Good
