Description:
A manuscript version of Heinrich Bullinger's Reformationsgeschichte, which seems to differ somewhat from the version published by J. J. Hottinger and H. H. Vögeli, at least with respect to the organization of the text into sections. The manuscript begins approximately one-third of the way into the published volume 2 (at section 314) and extends to the end of published volume 3. The text is divided into 255 sections; section 244 corresponds to the last section (510) in the published version and sections 245-252 seem to correspond to the unnumbered appendices. In addition, the codex contains 14 appendices, lettered A through H and J through O, which are not part of the published version of Bullinger's Reformationsgeschichte.; 1. p.1-793: [History of the Reformation in Switzerland from mid-1529 through 1532] / Heinrich Bullinger.; 2. p.795-809: Appendix A: Meister Heinrichen Bullingers Testament oder letster Willenn an sijne Herzen und Oberen von Zürich 1579 [1575, p. 809] / Heinrich Bullinger.; 3. p.819-826: Appendix B: Abgrist [?] des Jamers vnnd Niderlag vnnd Verlurst [sic] der Cristenn bij Best vnnd Offenn im 1541 Jar.; 4. p.827-830: Appendix C: Abschrift eines Mandats der drizähenn Orten gemeiner Eijdtgnoschafft . . . der Religion halben . . . den 15 Octobrig im 1529.; 5. p.831-841: Appendix D: Der frommen Vrijten d.
