Manuscript is a set of law codes (dharma) that highlights the importance of studying the Vedas; work discusses rules surrounding different kinds of rites and ceremonies, gift giving, eating, proper conduct, and more; especially those activities related to achieving release (mokṣa) from the cycle of life and death (a form of Hindu salvation).
