Black-and-white photographic prints and contact sheets depicting activities related to Temple Health Connection, now known as Public Health Management Corporation Health Connection (or PHMC Health Connection). There is also a description of the Temple Health Connection provided by Harvey Finkle. Prints and contact sheets feature people receiving medical care, in education programs, and of the staff and facility. According to their website, PHMC Health Connection "is a nurse-managed, health care facility that provides a variety of services to children, teens and adults in the community, including health exams, mental health counseling, health education, prenatal care/childbirth education, breastfeeding support/parenting, health fairs and immunization clinics, health counseling, nutrition/diabetes/asthma care, confidential HIV counseling/testing, treatment for health problems," among other services. According to their website, GSK is "a fully focused biopharma company. We prioritize innovation in vaccines and specialty medicines, maximizing the increasing opportunities to prevent and treat disease. At the heart of this is our R&D focus on the science of the immune system and advanced technologies, and our world-leading capabilities in vaccines and medicines development. We focus on four therapeutic areas: infectious diseases, HIV, respiratory/immunology, and oncology." Harvey Finkle (born March 28, 1934) is a self-taught documentary still photographer and photojournalist who has documented social, economic, cultural, and political issues across the city of Philadelphia, the United States, and the world. Finkle's work largely focuses on activism relating to historically underrepresented communities, including people living on low income, unhoused/unsheltered/houseless people/people experiencing homelessness, refugees, immigrants, and disabled people.
