Manuscript used for private performance of rites and vows (vratas) and particularly mothers for the welfare (saubhāgya) and good fortune of their children. Includes prescriptions for the veneration of several deities, including especially Gaurī (a form of Pārvatī), Gaṇeśa, and Śiva.
