Many poems are dedicated to specific persons, e.g., to Domencio Peretti (f. 49r, 50v); Marco Bembo (f. 61v, 67v, 73r); Francesco Fraccassetti (who had sent tobacco from England to the unnamed poet, f. 79r); Leonardo and Lucrezia Mozenigo (f. 82r, 116r), and Giorgio Alleprandi (f. 86r).
