Emilio Gondi correspondence and financial documents, 1575-1622.
Abstract:
Various letters to and from Emilio Gondi, written between 1575 and 1622, dealing with political events of Florence and family matters. Most of the outgoing correspondence (which includes a few accounts) is to Emilio's brother, Federigo, whereas the incoming letters are, for the most part, from two friends, Zanobi Landi and Francesco Sapiti, as well as Emilio's niece, Virginia Ardinghelli Sangalletti.
