Manuscript used for consultation and study and is a treatise on Sanskrit poetry, poetics (alaṃkāraśāstra), and rhetoric in the form of a commentary on the Kavyakalpalatā by the same author.
Title from internal colophon (f. 126v); alternate title Kāvyakalpalatākaviṣikṣāvṛtti supplied by cataloger.; Written in 10 lines per leaf.; 127 leaves foliated 1-127, upper left and lower right verso.; Colophon: iti śrījinadannasuriśiṣyamahākaviśrī amaracaṃdraviracitāyāṃ kāthakalpalatākaviśikṣāvṛttau arṣasidvipratāne [???]samasyāstabakaḥ saptamaḥ // (f. 126v).; Mistakes covered over in yellow or blacked out; some corrections and additions in margins; significant syllables, words, or phrases highlighted in red throughout; vertical margins marked with quadruple black line.; There is a square- or cross-shaped space in the middle of each folio, devoid of text, but in the center of each folio is a small hole, a reference to a style of binding used with palm leaf manuscripts.
