Carta ex[ecutori]a de hidalguia a pedimiento : de Martin Gomez y Pedro Gomez, hijos de Diego Gomez, vezinos de la villa de Valaderey.

Abstract:
Carta executoria, concerning the Villa de Valaderrey and the nobility of Diego Gomez, his brother Julian (or Juan) and his sons Martin and Pedro. The document is dated 1 Aug. 1583, although it refers to earlier events in 1576 (f. 4r), and is followed by later additions from September 1583 (concluding with notarial signet, f. 53v) and August 1604, with the last one issued by "los ynquisidores contra la Heretica, Pravedad, y Apostassia en la ciudad y reino de Toledo" (f. 54v and lower pastedown). An illustration possibly of St. Martin of Tours and the focus of the later texts on Martin Gomez suggests he was the owner of this volume.
