Black-and-white photographic prints depicting Abbottsford and Schuylkill Falls Community Health Center staff, doctors, residents, patients, and activities. According to their website, the Abbottsford and Schuylkill Fall Community Health Center (now Abbottsford-Falls), "began as two separate sites in 1992 and 1994 both located within nearby public housing communities, and then eventually merged, was renamed and moved to its current space on the East Falls/Germantown line. Abbottsford Falls provides comprehensive healthcare services, including Primary Care with integrated Behavioral Health, Outpatient Behavioral Health, Dental Care, Social Work, Outreach & Enrollment, Diabetes and Nutrition education and support, Mind/Body practices, prenatal care, medical specialty services, physical therapy, on-site pharmacy, transportation assistance and a fitness room." According to their website, GSK is "a fully focused biopharma company. We prioritize innovation in vaccines and specialty medicines, maximizing the increasing opportunities to prevent and treat disease. At the heart of this is our R&D focus on the science of the immune system and advanced technologies, and our world-leading capabilities in vaccines and medicines development. We focus on four therapeutic areas: infectious diseases, HIV, respiratory/immunology, and oncology." Harvey Finkle (born March 28, 1934) is a self-taught documentary still photographer who has documented the social, economic, cultural, and political issues in the city of Philadelphia and across the globe. Finkle's work largely focuses on historically marginalized communities, including low income and homeless families, homeless veterans, refugees, immigrants, and disabled people, providing documentation of activism in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and focuses on social injustices in the city, the country, and the world.
