Jh."; Chancery quarto. Leaf a2v: 23 lines, plus printed marginalia; area of text: 146 x 62 (71) mm. Initial spaces, some with guide letters. With signatures; without foliation or catchwords. Woodcut printer's device of Antoine Caillaut (106 x 88 mm.), with figure of St. Anthony and monogram AC, on title leaf. "The saint stands in front of his desert cell, holding a book and a rosary in one hand and his staff in the other. Behind him is a pig wearing a bell, a symbol of St. Anthony. The border contains the name of St. Anthony at the top and that of the printer on either side, his forename, Antoine, being part of the woodblock and his last name, Caillaut, being set in type. The two initial Cs are of different fonts."--M.
