F. 1v-2r contain text pertaining to the Gāyatrī mantra, and a ritual, Liṅgaśuddhi, in six verses. The text Bhūtaśuddhiprāṇapratiṣṭhā begins f. 2v. Title from f. 2v, line 1, and cover folio, which reads, in another hand, "bhūtaśuddhiprāraṁbhaḥ."; Manuscript incomplete (lacks end). What remains of the text matches closely the contents of homonymous manuscripts, UPenn Ms. Coll. 390, Item 1380 and Item 1434, etc.; Written 9-10 lines per leaf.; Good condition. Mistakes crossed through or blotched out with black. Marginal corrections.; Begins, f. 1v: om̐ bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥ om̐ tat savitur vareṇyam om̐ bhargo devasya dhīmahi om̐ dhiyo yo naḥ pracodayāt; F. 2v begins: śrīgaṇeśāya namaḥ atha bhūtaśuddhiḥ ācāmya prāṇān āyamya deśakālau smṛ amukaṁ karma kariṣye tadaṁgatvena bhūtaśuddhiprāṇapratiṣṭhāṁtarmātṛkābahirmātṛkānyāsāṁś ca kariṣye; Ends, f. 8v: śaṁ * asthyātmani hṛdayādipādayugule ṣaṁ * majjātmane hṛdayādipādayugule saṁ śukrātmane jaṭhare; In Sanskrit (Devanāgarī).
