Manuscript is part of Kālidāsa's well known poem, from the middle of the third chapter to the end of the seventh chapter, about the birth of the Hindu deity Skanda-Kārttikeya, dealing with the mythology of the relationship between the deities Pārvatī (Gaurī) and Śiva, their courtship and marriage. A commentary by Mallinātha runs parallel above and below the root text. Manuscript is incomplete.
