Manuscript contains adhyāya 5 of the seventh aṃśa of a larger work called the Śivarahasya, which is itself part of a work on Tantra called the Rudrayāmalatantra. It is dedicated to the praise of the city of Vārāṇasī (Kāśī) a sacred pilgrimage center for the Hindu deity Śiva.
