Link to collation model at end of record.; Layout: Written in 20 long lines; ruled in lead; prickings visible.; Script: Written in a large gotica cancelleresca script in a single hand, except for the first leaf, which was lost or mutilated at an early date and was replaced about 1450 by another leaf written in a rather rough hand (f. 1).; Decoration: 7-line decorated initial in red and blue (f. 1r); rubricated headings; red and blue used for highlights, initials.; Binding: Blind-stamped dark brown morocco, probably Florentine, ca. 1450 (perhaps contemporary with the replaced f. 1); gilt rondels and clasps missing.; Origin: Written in Italy, before the Golden Bull of 1356; after 1356 the electorships were held by different lay princes than those listed here (f. 66r; Witten).; Generally in good condition. Some stains and smudges on the leaves. Ink faded on some folios. Outer hinges of cover starting to crack.; Italian.
