Ms. codex.; Title from introduction (f. 1v).; Layout: Written in 33-34 long lines; border-ruled.; Script: Written in naskh, some headings in thuluth.; Decoration: Fully illuminated title page in polychrome and gold with floral motifs and title in central medallion (shamsa) (f. 1r); chapter headings in gold ink with illuminated panels and floral ornaments (f. 2r, for example); illuminated floral finispiece (f. 480r); significant words in red, blue, or gold ink; textblock borer-ruled in gold.; Binding: Bound in reddish leather over pasteboard with flap (Type II), gilt-stamped center medallion with two pendants on the vertical axis and cornerpieces; leather doublure with central quatrefoil medallion and two pendants on the vertical axis and cornerpieces all in blue and green with black filigree overlay and gold tooling.
