This is a manuscript letter written in Strasbourg, March 29, 1821, requesting the official marriage certificate of Elga Worms and Gerson Moch (which had been registered by the Haguenau notary in 1791). L. Marx, négociant (entrepreneur merchant) in Sarrlouis, recipient, was instructed to obtain the document from Elga Worms Moch (referred to as Madame Moch). Written on the right portion, originally a half-fold quarto letter (dorse stamped; tear from removal of wax seal); written in a 19th century French script.; Letter written in Strasbourg, March 29, 1821, requesting the official marriage certificate of Elga Worms and Gerson Moch (which had been registered by the Haguenau notary in 1791).
