The notation on the inside lower cover appears to be in the same hand as the folio numbers.

Trimming has caused loss of running heads and some marginal text. Fraying at edges has caused some loss of marginal text on f. 2r-v.; Origin: Written in Germany, ca. 1500 (Zacour-Hirsch).; Title from explicit (f. 199r).; "Therentius" appears at upper right corner of f. 2r (can be read through the missing section of f. 1).; Incipit: Natus in excelsis tectis Carthaginis alte / Romanis ducibus bellica preda fui / ... (f. 1r). (The manuscript begins with a six-line epitaph for Terence; it is followed immediately by the Argumentum for the Andria.).; Binding: Contemporary stamped pigskin over wooden boards.
