Śivagītā, circa 1700-1850.

Abstract:
Text is modeled after the Hindu epic text, the Bhagavadgītā, but is focused on the veneration of the deity Śiva instead of Kṛṣṇa and is set in an episode of the Rāmāyaṇa. Agastya instructs Rāma to perform the Pāśupata-vrata (vow) so that he may have a vision of Śiva. Śiva teaches Rāma about attaining self-realization and the different methods (yogas) to achieve it. Text from the last section (uttarakāṇḍa) of the Padmapurāṇa; commentary written by Keladīvyaṃ Kaṭādrināyaka (f. 117).
