"Richard Saunders" is a pseudonym.; An advertisement by Theophilus Grew for his school of mathematics appears on p. [24]. Similar advertisements are found in the issues for 1737 and 1743-1751. During this period Grew, the calculator of other almanacs, was probably the calculator of Poor Richard.; Advertised in the Pennsylvania gazette, Philadelphia, Nov. 27/Dec. 4, 1735.; Signatures: [A-C]4.; The Anatomy is the only illustration.; Imperfect: p.[23]-[24] wanting.
