Manuscript is used for consultation and study and is a short philosophical treatise considered a summary or essence (sāra) of Vedic knowledge from a Vedānta perspective. Nr̥siṃhāśrama's commentary, titled Vedāntasārasuvodhinīṭīkā, runs parallel above and below the root text.
