Cohen, Jewish Self-Government in Medieval Egypt, Princeton, 1980, pp. 178-212.; A document in legal Aramaic and Judeo-Arabic, recording testimony submitted by Saʻadia ben Elʻazar, accusing his brother Shelaḥ of having removed shared goods from the secret store room, including books in Arabic on medicine, mercury, money and clothes.; This is signed by ʻAli ha-kohen ben Yaḥiya, and by Abraham ben Shemaʻya, who appears to be the scribe of the document.
