This mid-nineteenth century composite print, titled Gallery of Celebrated Rabbis and Jewish Learned Men in Europe and America, presents engraved portraits of prominent Jewish religious leaders and scholars arranged in rows and numbered for identification. A printed key below the image lists each figure by name and location, including both European and American rabbis such as Isaac Leeser of Philadelphia, Isaac Mayer Wise of Cincinnati, David Einhorn of New York, Nathan Adler of London, and Samson Raphael Hirsch of Frankfurt am Main.
