Photographer's note: Mordechai Rosenstein, a noted Hebrew calligrapher, returned to visit Douglas Street and met Jolanda Cooke and her daughter Beatrice, who live in a house next to where he grew up. Mordechai’s old synagogue at Natrona and Cumberland Streets (Etz Chaim ve Zichron Jacob), is now the Faith Temple Church of God in Christ.
