The original is thought to have been older than the Diccionario de Ticul (Ms. Coll. 700, Item 2), which was dated 1690. In the first volume, words and phrases in Maya are followed by their Spanish equivalents. An appendix includes vocabulary lists containing counting terms, kinship terms, parts of the body, adverbs of time, and illnesses; and a list of additional entries for the dictionary. The second volume, bearing the heading Diccionario en la lengua, contains the Spanish-Maya portion of the dictionary and also has supplementary words and phrases listed at the end.
