Ceremonial work referring to the 14th day of the month Mārgaśīrṣa (November-December), opening with a series of mantras such as the Āvāhana-mantra, the Ardha-mantra, and the Brahmapūja-mantra and pleads both recognition and forgiveness of ones sins. Recounts some of the mythical exploits of the figures Kaudinya and Śusila and, in so doing, relaying instructions for the performance of various observances such as bathing and fasting.
