A collection by the parish priest of Nebaj, with a title page added by Berendt. Contents include notes on Ixil grammar and vocabulary; notes on the liturgical calendar in the pueblos of Nebaj, Chajul, and Cotzal, all in the department of Quiché; a parallel translation of the marriage ceremony in Spanish and Ixil; and a doctrinal collection including prayers, commandments, sacraments, and the articles of faith in Ixil and a parallel translation of the sacrament of confession in Ixil and Spanish.
