Śivagītā, 1806.

Abstract:
Text is modeled after the Hindu epic text, the Bhagavadgītā, but is focused on the veneration and praise of the deity Śiva and not Kṛṣṇa and is set in an episode of the Rāmāyaṇa. Legendary sage Āgastya instructs Rāma to perform the Pāśupata-vrata (vow) so that he may have a vision of Śiva. Śiva teaches Rāma about attaining self-realization and the different methods (yogas) to attain it. Text from the last section (uttarakāṇḍa) of the Padmapurāṇa. Praise of the Hindu deity Śiva identifies itself as a Upaniṣad (f. 107r). Presented as a discussion between the deities Śiva and Rāma (Rāghava).
