Black-and-white photographic prints depicting activities led by the Golden Slipper Seniors (now known as Golden Slipper Gems). Prints feature portraits and candid photographs of older adult people participating in activities including dancing and pool, and enjoying live music. According to their website, Golden Slipper Gems "inspires older adults to live independently, actively and engaged" and "envisions a society where every older adult is honored as a valuable and treasured asset." According to their website, GSK is "a fully focused biopharma company. We prioritize innovation in vaccines and specialty medicines, maximizing the increasing opportunities to prevent and treat disease. At the heart of this is our R&D focus on the science of the immune system and advanced technologies, and our world-leading capabilities in vaccines and medicines development. We focus on four therapeutic areas: infectious diseases, HIV, respiratory/immunology, and oncology." Harvey Finkle (born March 28, 1934) is a self-taught documentary still photographer and photojournalist who has documented social, economic, cultural, and political issues across the city of Philadelphia, the United States, and the world. Finkle's work largely focuses on activism relating to historically underrepresented communities, including people living on low income, unhoused/unsheltered/houseless people/people experiencing homelessness, refugees, immigrants, and disabled people.
