Manuscript is for consultation by priest or householder performing rites of expiation and worship of various gods and their images (such as Gaṇeśa, Viṣṇu, or Śiva) to dispel inauspicious tidings, especially at death. Manuscript contains two sections on different kinds of expiation and averting calamity.; (Part 1:) Paṅcakaśānti -- (Part 2:) Tripādaśānti.
