The Mount of Olives and Al-Aqsa Mosque.; The photograph is in a book with a typed description. The description: "(Numbers, xix:3.)--'And ye shall give her unto Eleazer the priest, that he may bring her forth without the camp, and one shall slay her before his face.' The bodies of those animals offered for the sin of the congregation were burnt outside the camp, teaching that sin had no proper place in the city of God. In accordance with this view our Lord suffered without the gate. 'Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. Let us go forth unto him without the camp bearing his reproach.' Above is a picture of the Mount of Olives from the Temple Plateau in Jerusalem. Upon the spot where this picture was taken the rites and ceremonies were perfected of which Jesus Christ was the living fulfillment."; The photograph was not catalogued by Lazard--it was catalogued at LKCAJS.; Condition: Good
