Notes:
A colonnade with six columns.; The photograph is in a book with a typed description in French and English. The English translation is given: "Six immense pillars standing on a massive wall which belonged to the south side of the building, a solid mass of stone work that is all that now remains of the temple of the Sun. But even, this little suffices to show how magnificent an edifice it must have been. Its length was 89 metres, its breadth 48. The columns were 7 metres in circumference and 23 metres in height including entablature." The initials "B+P" are printed at lower left. Writing appears to have been cropped from the bottom of the photograph.; The photograph was not catalogued by Lazard--it was catalogued at LKCAJS.; Condition: Good
