Documents stored and archived by the Jüdische Gemeinde Binswangen (Jewish community of Binswangen (Dillingen an der Donau, Germany)) relating to community legal affairs, transactions, lawsuits, and tribunals. Mention of early members of the Binswanger family include the donation of the estate of Wolf Binswanger to the community (1707-8; 564c); the controversy and tribunal against hiring the son of the rabbinical minister, 1791 (564g); tax collections and documentation of sources of income for Binswangen Jewry, and efforts of the parnassim to extract payment for dues recorded in the community pinkas. Most items damaged and fragile.
